Hello and welcome to Simply Enchanting Photography. This is my company and I am very proud to share my story of how I got here with you.
I became interested in photography because of a man that I have admired my entire life. My father. From as far back as I can remember, my father has had a camera around his neck and the window up to his eye taking pictures of our family, friends and events that we were a part of. When he would have those pictures developed and I saw them, I learned that I could relive those moments, happy or sad, just by looking at something that depicted one split second of the entire event. I was in absolute awe and because of him, I found a passion that has followed me into adulthood. It is because of that passion that was sparked from within me all those years ago that I strive to always be the best photographer that I can be. I am constantly learning and growing in this medium of art that I have chosen. I also make sure I never lose that initial wonderment that I felt all those years ago.
When I am starting a photo shoot of any kind I try to look for 3 things. First, is to make sure I am meeting the needs and desires of my client to the best of my ability. Customer satisfaction is of the up most importance for me. Second, is to look for different shot options to give the picture a "wow" factor. Most of my clientele tend to appreciate a "typical shot" being seen in a new way. The last and most important way I approach a picture is to maximize showing the beauty of what I am taking a picture of. No matter if it is a landscape for a flyer, a home shoot for a real estate corporation or The Jones's family holiday photo, I want to make sure I can convey the greatest and most beautiful aspects in the photograph. Everything has that potential and my goal is to bring it out and showcase it in my photography.
My work has expanded in so many ways over the last several years. I have grown so much as an artist as well as a person. I take all of my life experiences and I find a way to apply them to my photography. I find that not only does it improve my photos, but it enhances my relationships, personally as well as professionally. I have been challenging myself to explore new mediums to give my photography more exposure. In these new attempts I have found many new options and I feel that it is showing me facets of my work that I never realized existed before. The natural progression of that is I learn more and become that much better at my craft.
